FAQs
- What is Promdifiction?
Promdifiction is a portmanteau word which is a combination of Promdi, a Filipino slang for from the province and fiction.
This isn’t to say that stories in Promdifiction are tales about or from the province nor is it written by people who are. (Well, probably except me.) But in retrospect, maybe it is, if province is used as a metaphor for one’s past.
As a blog, Promdificition has evolved from its initial concept of being just my personal blog to what it is today which is a postmodern literature blog that features five-part stories written in part truth and fiction.
Promdifiction has also been chosen by Addictionary as its Word for the Day.
